What can be arranged

Practical help, priced plainly

Everything here is arranged directly from the Al Bateen desk, in person or by telephone. Prices are given in AED so you know where you stand before you call, and there is nothing to subscribe to and nothing that renews on its own.

Single route plan

One route, written for your car, your passengers and the time of year you are travelling. It sets out the stages, the realistic timings at your pace, the stops that suit an older driver and the points on the road that need care. Delivered as a printed sheet you can keep in the door pocket.

  • A stage-by-stage plan with honest timings
  • Rest and fuel points chosen for shade and facilities
  • Surface and hazard notes for the specific season

AED 350

Multi-day touring plan

For trips of three days or more, including routes that cross into Oman. Covers the driving days, the sensible overnight points, the border considerations and the documents you will need, with a deliberately slack schedule so a late start never turns into a rushed evening.

  • A day-by-day driving schedule with slack built in
  • Border paperwork and insurance checklist
  • Two rounds of revisions after you have seen it

AED 900

Heat readiness check

A seated session with your own car, going through the things that decide whether a summer drive is comfortable: cooling performance at the vents, cabin sealing, glass condition, tyre age and pressures, and what lives in the boot. You leave with a short written list of what to fix and what to ignore.

  • Vent temperature and cooling rate measured
  • Tyre age, pressure and sidewall condition reviewed
  • A written list separating the urgent from the optional

AED 400

Rental briefing

An hour spent working out whether renting suits your trip better than driving your own car, and if so, what to insist on. Covers deposit practice, mileage caps, cross-border permissions and the handover checks that prevent an argument about a scratch three weeks later.

  • A written handover checklist for collection day
  • Cross-border permission and deposit guidance
  • What to photograph and in what order

AED 250

Test drive companion

Someone calm in the passenger seat while you assess a car. A prepared route through town and out onto a fast road, a structured set of things to listen for and reach for, and an unhurried conversation afterwards while the impressions are still fresh. No connection to any seller.

  • A prepared route covering town, rough surface and fast road
  • A seated comfort and controls assessment
  • A written summary sent the same week

AED 500

Buying shortlist

A structured conversation about how you actually drive, followed by a shortlist described by body type, size and character rather than by badge. Includes expected running costs, service intervals, seat geometry notes and the questions to ask a seller about a pre-owned car.

  • A shortlist of three to five types with reasons
  • Running cost and service interval estimates
  • A seller question sheet for pre-owned purchases

AED 750

All prices are indicative and quoted in AED for planning purposes. The figure confirmed on the telephone before any work begins is the one that applies, and nothing is charged until you have agreed it.

Tell me where you would like to drive

A short note about the trip you have in mind, who is coming, what you drive and roughly when, is enough to start with. The reply will be a plain answer about whether the route suits the season and the car, not a sales pitch.
